HOW TO REACH SERIFOS
Serifos is a lovely island of the Cyclades that stands out for its tranquil atmosphere and traditional architecture.
In brief, the island is easily accessible by ferry from Piraeus port in Athens but also from other islands in the Small Cyclades group. The closest airport is on Milos island but the most convenient one is in Athens. From Athens you will need to go directly to Piraeus port to get the ferry.
FROM ATHENS AIRPORT TO PIRAEUS PORT
Please note that prices are only indicative. Please be informed, before the use of each mean of transport. Athens Airport to Piraeus Port by Taxi 70-80 minutes depending on the traffic. The usual fare for this journey is 56€ during the day while the night charge (00:00 am – 05:00 am) is around 72€. Athens Airport to Piraeus Port by Subway/Train the Blue Line 3 leaves the airport station and takes approximately 58 minutes. A one-way metro ticket costs 9€ for adults and 4.5€ for students, children and seniors. The price for a return ticket is 16€ Athens Airport to Piraeus Port by Bus airport Bus X96 About 90 minutes under normal traffic conditions. However, during rush hours, the bus might need up to 2 hours to reach the ferry terminal.

FROM PIRAEUS PORT TO SERIFOS
There are two kinds of ferries that take you from Piraeus port to Serifos port. The speed ferries take approximately 2h30 to get to Serifos and the normal ferry takes about 5h. Both of them take passengers and cars (some take only passengers). Be careful when you book your tickets to pick the correct one if you are travelling by car. During summer months both type of ferries are available during each day from Piraeus to Serifos and back.
